Climbing Island Peak, normal way.

Climbing Nirekha Peak, W-ridge

We have engaged the agency Traditional treks Ltd, and we can highly recommend it. The trek was very well organized, especially considering the politically difficult situation at the time when we arrived in Nepal.
During the trek, we were accompanied by Agasta Mukhiya, a very friendly guide who speaks excellent english. He had as well a very extensive knowledge on the nature and culture in the Khumbu area.
Further we want to recommend the guide Prem who is a very funny and nevertheless reliant guide / sherpa, the kitchen helper Dawa, and the porter Gelse. Of course also the other staff have done their job very well, but these guys really impressed us. Ask for them!
